Time Flies By -- Be Sure to Take Time with Your Family!

The cliche about time moving faster when one gets older certainly holds true for me. I cannot believe that we already are in March -- which means we are two-thirds of the way through our school year!

The days and months may be flying by for you, too. If so, I want to give you a friendly admonition -- parent to parent -- to make sure to wedge time in your schedule for your family. Our children need us ... it's as simple as that.

Speaking of the importance of family, First Lady Barbara Bush said, "To us, family means putting your arms around each other and being there." Here's hoping we all can "be there" for our kids -- even with crowded personal calendars. Here's wishing all of us many moments -- special, memorable moments -- with our families in which the clock does not seem to be advancing quite as fast.
